This album represents two of the UK’s most active dub/electronica producers, who joined forces for the creation of this deeply psychedelic sonic excursion, employing the use of unconventional music instruments such as the Theremin, the Stylophone, dub sirens and loads of vintage analogue effects.
Produced and composed by Mad Professor and Gaudi, this album features an array of international reggae giants such as: Steel Pulse, Michael Rose, Lee “Scratch” Perry, Macka B, Marty Dread and Soom T, with the addition of class musicians such as: Sly Dunbar, Aston Barret Jr, Vin Gordon, Horseman, Lloyd Parks, Preacher, Paolo Baldini Dubfiles, Cleavland Nunie, Cyrus, Sgt Pepper, Black Steel, David Electric, Zebby Cush, Vlastur, Nicolo’ Fragile, Franklyn Waul and Gaudi himself.
With both careers spanning over the last three and a half decades and hundreds of productions and remixes under their belts, Mad Professor and Gaudi’s credentials are nothing short than impressive, they both worked on albums for Lee “Scratch” Perry, Horace Andy, The Orb and Soom T, while individually MAD PROFESSOR has worked with Massive Attack, Grace Jones, Sade, Depeche Mode, Jamiroquai, Beastie Boys and KLF, while GAUDI has worked with Steel Pulse, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Simple Minds, Sizzla, Michael Rose, The Beat, Lamb, Adrian Sherwood, Grandmaster Flash, African Head Charge, Deep Forest, Hollie Cook, Dub FX to name but a few…
